Shipping and Insurance
Orders are sent to you via DHL Courier Service if being delivered to a mainland United Kingdom address. Crockett & Jones shoes shall be sent to you via DHL Courier Service if being delivered to a mainland United Kingdom address, if being delivered abroad they will be sent via Royal Mail. Orders being delivered abroad will be sent via Royal Mail with insurance against damage. We reserve the right to at times use alternative courier services that will still execute our high standards of delivery. When you receive the goods, please make sure that they are in good condition. If not, you must contact us immediately, so we can make the necessary claim from DHL and/or Royal Mail. We will ask you to return the goods to us, and upon receipt, aim to despatch a replacement item to you as soon as possible and reimburse you for the cost of return postage. If we are unable to source a replacement item, then we will reimburse you the amount paid for the item.
Invoices & Receipts
We will send a receipt for all orders, either with the goods or to follow in the post, except those sent to third parties as Gifts. In these cases, we send a separate receipt direct to the purchaser.
Returns - Satisfaction Guarantee
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases from The Tannery website. If you are not satisfied with the goods you receive, you may return them to us within 30 days and we will give you a full refund, provided that the goods are returned to us in good condition. The purchaser must bear the cost of return postage or courier, unless the goods were damaged prior to receipt OR our product description was misleading, in which case we will refund your return postage costs. Title to the Goods
Title for goods remains with The Tannery until such time as we have received payment in full.
Accuracy of Information
We endeavour to ensure that every product description is accurate and helps you to make the right purchase decision. However, we cannot guarantee the information provided is accurate. All sizes are approximate and colours are reproduced as accurately as possible during photography. If there is any significant error in the description and, therefore, you were mislead about the item you purchased, we will provide you with a full refund or another item in exchange, provided the original item is returned to us in good condition. We will also refund your return postage or courier costs.
Most of the products from The Tannery are made from natural materials and are often hand finished. Slight variations in colour and size may occur from time to time. We hope you understand this and appreciate the skill and craftsmanship required to make such high quality products.
