Holt Christmas Lights: A Yearly Spectacular
The Holt Christmas Lights is one of the highlights of the year for local residents. Known for being a pretty little market town, the Holt Lights marks the beginning of the Christmas season for the local residents and transforms the town into a beautiful Christmas wonderland. Every year at 6pm, someone is invited to turn on the fairy lights that decorate the building facades along the street. The local shops open as well, such as The Tannery and Pollard & Read, and they often welcome you with glasses of champagne and treats. There is singing, fireworks, food stalls, activities, and much more.
One such activity is the Christmas Window Trail. Fun for the whole family, it requires you to follow the trail and look for the mystery item in the partaking windows. You know a shop is taking part by the numbered trail tree in each window. This is one of the many things to do at the lights and helps to create a fun atmosphere for you and the family.
